Hi, My name is Sem, I’m a recently graduated designer from the university of Antwerp aswell as a self thaught photographer/visual artist.
I’m a naturally curious person and i am constantly in awe about my surroundings. I’m always researching new topics and letting my mind wander about the possibilities within and around those topics while always keeping a critical eye to translate it into reality. Much of my inspiration comes from these mindwanderings, as well as from my passion for photography and also from other designs, art, fiction and philosophy. I like to surround myself with ambitous and daring dreamers who are open to novel ideas and who tries to push boundaries.
If i’d have to define my goal as a designer, it would be to create experiences and products that make people feel grounded. Products should feel exciting and should invite the user to explore its possibilities. All of these things get translated into fairly minimalist but functional and empathetic design. But i’d rather have you make up your own mind by taking a look for yourself.
