With this group project, we wanted to empower people who have to wear a nasogastric tube every day. Starting from an inclusive design philosophy, we created facial jewelry that hides the transparent medical tube and eliminates the need to use tape on the face. Inside there is a capsule that gives off a scent as the liquid nutrition flows through the tube. This would bring back a sensory experience that the user lost by using a nasogastric tube.
